The statues of the Apparition celebrate the cycle of the Apparitions of Our Lady to the three little shepherds, Lúcia, Jacinta and Francisco, in Cova da Iria, Fátima parish.
"We started to go down the hill, touching the sheep towards the road [...]. When we reached the middle of the farm, appeared another lightning and, two steps forward, we saw on the top of a holm oak, which would have a meter tall, a Lady." (Lúcia, 08/07/1924)
