  • Capelinha

The statue of Our Lady of Fatima Capelinha is one of the most important symbols of the contemporary Catholic world. It was conceived in the spirit and image of the original statue created in 1920, by José Ferreira Thedim, to worship in the Chapel of the Apparitions of Fátima Sanctuary.

  • Pilgrim

The statue of Our Lady of Fatima Pilgrim (Peregrina) was designed based on the description of Sister Lúcia, one of the three children who saw Our Lady on the 13th of each month, from May to October of 1917, in Fátima, Portugal.
This statue just leaves the Chapel of the Apparitions, in events considered very special, as the last visit of the Virgin Pilgrim's statue to the Portuguese dioceses in the Centenary of the Fatima Apparitions.

  • Immaculate Heart of Mary

The statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary was conceived in the spirit and image according to the mention of the little shepherds of Fátima, to whom Our Lady told them the "Secret".
Sister Lúcia told that Our Lady said: "... to save souls, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart."
The salvation of souls and the achievement of peace are the goal of devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

  • Azinheira

In these sculptures, the Virgin of Fatima is presented with her feet resting on a cloud hanging over a small holm oak (azinheira), from where emerge discrete lateral corners to the trunk of the tree. And that makes up the base of the statue.
In the Chapel of the Apparitions, the pedestal of the satue of Our Lady, marks the exact spot where it was the small holm oak on which Our Lady appeared to the shepherds on 13 May, June, July, September and October of 1917.

  • Stylized

The stylized statues of Our Lady show simplified shapes and various colours, to give them a decorative and modern aspect, different from the traditional style.
