Seek and ye shall find - saved the best for last
Our Lady of Fatima has led my search for her statue here at de Fatima - located in Fatima itself! and I am very grateful. I would like to address my shopping experience with this wonderful store into two aspects:
1. The service
Hats off to Jorge! He has been attentive and responsive to the emails I have sent about the questions I have about statues of Our Lady of Fatima. Prior to finding deFatima, I was seeing different facial expressions of the statues at this price point. For my very first Mama Mary statue to own, I wanted to make sure the face is beautiful because I look at it when I pray. Jorge was so patient, diligent, professional, articulate, and courteous in providing facts about how the statues are made at this price point - slight inconsistency in hand painting, etc, making each statue truly unique. I am so blessed to get the last statue of the Centennial version w/ crystal eyes in this size. It was either this or the Classic version - also beautiful!, Being worried about the facial features of the last Centennial item in stock, he sent me an up-close shot of it, as it is different from what is posted in this page. This really helped in my decision making - and I love the all white! Jorge, my sincerest thanks for your patience.
The shipping of the item to the Untied States was fast - about a week or less, considering the statue coming from Fatima, Portugal. I am blown away with the service. It made my online shopping experience for Our Lady of The Rosary very special.
2. Product Quality
The statue arrived in perfect condition. I was expecting to receive a bigger box, but the packaging was sufficient. The box was sturdy and really protected the statue. The crown is light, bendable plastic which was wrapped well and didn't fold or break during shipping. The body of the statue has a satin finish - very elegant and understated. The face - beautiful. DeFatima really cares about the quality of the products, and it shows. Of all the stores/vendors I have checked online, deFatima is consistent with the facial features of Our Lady being similar. What is photographed in their website is just a hair different from what I have received - better, even.
Overall, I am content and at peace, and am grateful for the product and service. Thank you to deFatima and to Our Blessed Lady.
